The Culture of Peace Program “Promoting Democracy & Human Rights
among Youth” is a three year program that was implemented by The Performing Arts
Center (PAC) with the support of the European Union. The Culture of Peace
Program was a national effort to promote Democracy & Human Rights and
included the production of the interactive theater play “Humanity. go”; the

of 10, 25 minute episode which was aired on Jordan TV in 2003 and
promoted democracy and human rights with the universal Declaration of Human
Rights as a reference; and 5 radios programs that comprised of keynote speakers,
interviews with youth and songs promoting democracy and human rights were aired
on Radio Jordan as part of the Culture of Peace
Program.
